We are very serious about the below Terms of Use Guidelines.

Profanity and/or abusive language will not be tolerated here. In fact, we don't waste our time in warning members nor editing their messages...

Instead, we delete the memberships of TOU abusers as soon as we see the message post or as soon as we receive a complaint from another member.

Also, if your not sure if your language (words) will violate our TOU policy...don't use those words.

Lurking is not allowed. We randomly and often without warning...delete inactive members.

In fact, we will advertise our fee-based services to all inactive members...no exceptions.

Thus, active members do not receive advertisements from TheStrategyLab.com about its fee-based services.

Racism and belittle of women will result in being immediately banned...no warning is given.

Advertising your products or services without TheStrategyLab's approval will result in being banned...no warning is given.

However, you are allowed to post a link in your signature file of your ezboard profile or within your trader profile.

Yet...no advertising.

Personal attacks will not be tolerated. A warning is given.
If the warning doesn't prevent future personal attacks on another TheStrategyLab member...you will be banned.

Participating and interaction is REQUIRED to remain a member of this forum. We may be slow in deleting inactive members. However, eventually we will delete your membership if you are inactive.

Participating and Interacting Definition: Asking questions, insightful replies, posting trading tips, sharing market knowledge, actively using our realtime trade posting room called #FuturesTrades or our realtime chat room called #EminiFutures...

Any of the above will tell us that you are participating and interacting with other TheStrategyLab members.

Lurking is not allowed nor is logging in and parking your user name.

Look at it this way...do you go to work on your day off and hang around the office without pay?

Therefore, if your not trading...don't log in.

Trade posting is required (real money or paper trades) if you do log in.

We are looking for quality among the members via participation and interaction (posting of trades, questions, answers and/or commentary...

We're not concerned with quantity nor are we concerned with hit counts.

Do not insult the room members by saying your here to only learn and are unable to post a trade.

If you truly want to succeed as a trader...you will have to speak up (interact) and stop giving everybody the impression you are succeeding via being silent.

More importantly, if you see someone that's consistently posting profitable trades while your struggling or losing money...

While you make a decision not to get help...

Trading is not the career for you.

If you did not post a trade entry...do not post a trade exit.

You are not allowed to ask for specific advice for trade entries nor exits.

What we mean by this is that it's not appropriate for you to ask another trader if you should go Long or Short.

However, such is allowed to occur via private message between two traders.

Those that post their trade positions is the best trade advice you can receive because these individuals are walking the talk.

Please wait for the trader to post his exit or wait for the trader to start talking again before asking questions about his/her trade.

Off topic discussion should be done via private messaging instead of being posted in the open forum to prevent distraction from trade posting and to prevent distraction amoung traders discussing their open positions.

Also, you can post your off-topic messages in #EminiFutures chat room.

Your required to post a Trader Profile that includes a chart of what gives you trade signals so that other room members don't need to ask questions like...what chart interval are you using, what indicator are you using et cetera.

To get on the active member list you most share one trade strategy...from start to finish...with a minimum of one chart example.

Anti-Spam Message

Here at our ezboard discussion forum, Yahoo! eGroup or mIRC live-realtime chat nor within any of our website resources...we do not allow spam or unsolicited information to be posted unless you have our permission.

Our own products or services are obviously exempt and only aimed at inactive members to encourage participation and interaction as they promised in their membership agreement.

In fact...we ourselves do not advertise our fee-based services at other discussion forums where we are members...why should we allow you to openly post advertising messages without our permission?

Below (further down) is a paragraph of whom else are exempt.

Now...What is spam or unsolicited information?

We don't care what that online definition is because we have our own definition.

Your message post is SPAM if you are posting advertising sentences with your direct links or contact info (email addresses) to your website or to a website that offers either fee-based or provides registration (sign-up) to free information without our permission.

Now...what about websites that offers fee-based and free information?

You can post DIRECT LINKS to any free information that doesn't require registration (sign-up) to access. Thus, the information is right there for viewing as soon as the direct link is clicked.

DO NOT abuse the above paragraph. If you are unsure...contact us first and we'll let you know if it's ok to post links to free information.

For example...posting a direct link to the Nasdaq Composite Index at Stockcharts.com that offers the chart for free eventhough Stockcharts.com obviously has other services that are fee-based. Such a direct link to the Nasdaq Composite chart is ok.

Currently...we do not charge an advertising fee to ads that have been reviewed/approved for posting in the forum thread called "Trader or Website Showcase"...

When this discussion forum becomes active...the advertising fee will be reviewed.

Further, your personal ezboard profile may be used to post any info you choose concering your website.

However, if your profile is offensive towards our discussion forum and its members (violates our TOU policy) while you are a member of TheStrategyLab...your membership will be deleted/banned immediately.

Note: Representatives from companies in our "Computer Hardware", "Software for Active Investors and Traders", "Brokers Trading Platforms" forum threads are exempt from the rule that they cannot post website links nor contact information to their company.

Such individuals have been personally invited or shown a sincere interest to keep members of our discussion forums up-to-date on their products or services that the ezboard members are using.

If you ignore this message and post SPAM...the following
will occur:

1) Your message will be deleted immediately

2) Your membership will be deleted without warning

3) We save a copy of your SPAM and we'll forward it along
with a copy of this anti-spam policy message to your ISP
and/or host of your website

4) We will send the same above information to several popular anti-spam organization for review for them to see if your service or products are fraudulent. If fraud is suspected, the proper authorities will be contacted

5) We will put you (the spammer) on our infamous blacklist webpage at our website. A webpage that's submitted to all online search engines which includes the spammer's actual email address, IP address and other public information along with a .gif screen shot of the spam as proof.

Thus, any time someone types your name or products in a
search engine, there's a good chance they will also see the SPAMMER webpage as part of the search engine results.
